Our Story
With what started in 1984 with one truck, a handful of customers, and a family with a relentless work ethic, Amelia Overhead Doors has grown to be central Virginia’s premier garage door provider and installer. With a tradition of high quality work and extraordinary customer service, the business steadily grew in size and capability very quickly. By the 1990s, Amelia Overhead Doors had earned its place as a leading supplier and installer of garage doors for all of Virginia. As a preferred garage door dealer for the top builders and developers in the area, the company had firmly planted itself as “The Garage Door Supercenter” by 1995. By the mid-2000’s, the company had exploded in growth and in its ability to not only be the leader in residential doors in Virginia, but also to be one of the industry leaders for commercial and industrial doors as well. Now, customers know that if a garage door job needs to be on time, within budget, and with overall excellent, quality work, Amelia Overhead Doors is the company to get it done.
